I believe this is a 1979 model. 24 inch wide bucket, model number 824001. Runs and works as it should, it has been re-powered with a more modern HMSK80, 8HP Tecumseh engine and has the locking differential axle.

I have noticed that the rake gearbox is leaking a little around the shaft seals. The seals are available from Ariens for about $10.

Make an offer, I have enough snowblowers!

I'm sure that would be a good candidate for someone who wants a summer project.

Looks like with some new XTrac tires ($20 x 2 ) and some paint ($5 x 3), would be a nice machine for someone as long as the mechanicals are good. Even a friction disc ($15-20) change on that model is an easy job.

As you can see , it is worth the effort if you enjoy that stuff … :)
